This is a beginning.
Now we have that out of the way, I think explaining the choice of blog name seems like a good starting point. John Milton wrote Paradise Lost in 1667, followed by Paradise Regained in 1671. Paradise Lost told the story of the fall of man, succumbing to temptation, only gaining salvation through Jesus' sacrifice (Which concludes Paradise Regained). Milton used this as a symbol for man, and humanity, showing how we are promised Paradise in heaven through Jesus' sacrifice. Bare with me, I'm getting to the point...Now my Paradise To-Be-Gained is different - I haven't fell, neither have I received my promise of paradise (earthly of course). This will be my journey through life, my falls, and my moments of paradise. Oh, and the Miltonic overtone is meant to give a hint that I'll be dealing with literature, and my journey trying to break into teaching.
Most posts end with a sign off, or an ending. What makes this impossible is that I'm at the start, this is a beginning.
